Hmm.. that's weird.... what do you do if you want to write in japanese, for example ? When you try to change keyboards in the comment sections, are all "flags" unavailable, or only russian ? If it's only russian that's missing, then I'd say it has to do with encoding... maybe you could try checking that... it should be in the "presentation" menu in Safari ( 3rd menu from the left). Mine is set on "default", and I have no problem with cyrillic, or any other language... :???:

I have enabled both Standard Russian keyboard and also the Phonetic one. They work fine in any other site or even applications I run, but they didn't work here in the comments. I also run OS X 10.5 and use both Safari and FireFox, but when I tried to write something here, the "flags" of the keyboards became unavailable.

I'm also not home right now, but I'll check it again when I am back. Anyway, it's not serious problem! The most important is to keep track of the podcasts. :wink:

I'm working on a mac, and I use it to write in russian in the comments without trouble... what are you using (OS, browser, keyboard, etc...) ? I'm under 10.5, and using Safari with the "Russian" keyboard (I have 3 different keyboards on my mac : "Russian", "Russian-PC", "Russian-phonetical"). I'm not home right now, but tonight I'll check on my computer running 10.4 if that's the issue. Other than that, the first thing that comes to my mind is there might be some problem with the encoding system used with the browser (Unicode/Cyrillic/ISO...).I think you should check

About Tetris: the name of its main developer is Alexey Pazhitnov. His co-workers were Dmitry Pavlovsky and Vadim Gerasimov. First several years after game creation they received almost nothing. I have a couple of questions and I thought i'd ask them here since it appears these comments get read by RP101 "officials" and the forums don't. ?

When will the Grammar (in the Learning Center) and other sections start getting content? Also, if you select the Grammar link and select the Pronoun box there is some content there (which is great) however below that it references 2 Beginner lessons that don't seem to exist...

I'm not complaining... just impatient:grin:

Regarding your problem with typing the cyrillic alphabet on your Mac...

Does it show up when you type in the comment box and then not show up when you submit?

We are using PC's so we are not sure of the problem.

Maybe our other listeners could help.

Many of our comment are written in the cyrillic alphabet and maybe they are using Mac too. They may be able to offer some advice.

We will also look into it.

Hello, everyone!

I've recently started listening to the episodes of RPOD and they are really interesting.

I'm a REAL beginner and I'm still trying to learn the sounds of cyrillic alphabet.

I still can't say a single word without reading it somewhere, but I'm having a lot of fun listening to the podcasts. I'm not in a hurry to learn Russian, after all. I recently bought a dictionary and a phrasebook to get some help at this very early stage.

Russian seems to be very difficult and completely different from any language I've studied so far. That's the fun part!!! :lol:

Just one point. I'm using a Mac and though I've enabled two keyboards for Russian (standard and phonetic), none seem to work in this comment's section. Does anybody know the reason?
