"Your phone number, please."
Ваш номер телефона, пожалуйста. (Vash nomer telefona, pozhaluysta.)
Let’s start with номер телефона (nomer telefona), meaning "phone number." Номер телефона.
This starts with номер (nomer). "Number." Номер. Номер.
In Russian, all nouns have grammatical gender and are either singular or plural. Номер (Nomer) is masculine and singular — a fact that determines the form of other words in the sentence.
Next is телефона (telefona). "phone." Телефона. Телефона.
Телефона (Telefona) is from the noun телефон (telefon) and is masculine singular.
It’s in the genitive case because it’s adding detail to the noun номер.
This form of the genitive case is similar to the way "of" is used in the English "department of economics," "secretary of state," or "game of thrones."
To form the genitive of masculine nouns ending in a consonant, simply add an -а (-a) to the end of the noun.
Телефон (Telefon) becomes телефона (telefona).
Together, it’s номер телефона (nomer telefona). This literally means "number of phone," but it translates as "phone number." Номер телефона.
Before this is Ваш (Vash), meaning "your" in this formal context. Ваш. Ваш.
Ваш (Vash) is masculine singular to agree with номер (nomer).
Now, you might be more familiar with твой (tvoy), an informal word for "your," as in твой номер телефона, "your telephone number (informal)." As this is a city office setting, the formal form, Ваш (Vash), is more appropriate.
Last is the expression, пожалуйста (pozhaluysta), meaning "please." Пожалуйста. Пожалуйста.
All together, it’s Ваш номер телефона, пожалуйста (Vash nomer telefona, pozhaluysta). "Your phone number, please."

Do you remember how Mark says,
"My phone number is 8-003-123-45-67."

Do you remember how to say "phone number?"
Номер телефона (Nomer telefona). "Phone number." Номер телефона.
Before this is мой (moy), "my." мой. Мой. Мой.
мой (moy) is masculine singular to agree with номер (nomer).
All together, it’s Мой номер телефона (Moy nomer telefona). "My phone number." Мой номер телефона.
Next is Mark’s phone number, 8-003-123-45-67 (восемь, ноль ноль три, один два три, четыре пять, шесть семь). 8-003-123-45-67 (vosem' nol' nol' tri, odin dva tri, chetyre pyat', shest' sem').
Note how Mark says his phone number.
When giving your phone number in Russian, say each digit separately. After each group of digits, include a short pause in place of the hyphen.
For example,
8-003-123-45-67 (восемь, ноль ноль три, один два три, четыре пять, шесть семь). (vosem’, nol’ nol’ tri, odin dva tri, chetyre pyat’, shest’ sem’)
All together, it’s Мой номер телефона 8-003-123-45-67 (восемь, ноль ноль три, один два три, четыре пять, шесть семь). (Moy nomer telefona 8-003-123-45-67 (vosem' nol' nol' tri, odin dva tri, chetyre pyat', shest' sem').) literally, “My phone number 8-003-123-45-67, but translates as, "My phone number is 8-003-123-45-67."
Мой номер телефона 8-003-123-45-67 (восемь, ноль ноль три, один два три, четыре пять, шесть семь). (Moy nomer telefona 8-003-123-45-67 (vosem' nol' nol' tri, odin dva tri, chetyre pyat', shest' sem').)
The pattern is
Мой номер телефона NUMBER. (Moy nomer telefona {PHONE NUMBER})
"My phone number is NUMBER."
Мой номер телефона NUMBER.
To use this pattern, simply replace the NUMBER placeholder with your phone number.
Note: this pattern requires a sequence of digits. Each should be said separately.
Imagine your phone number is 8 003 999 88 55. (восемь, ноль ноль три, девять девять девять, восемь восемь, пять пять). (vosem' nol' nol' tri, devyat' devyat' devyat', vosem' vosem', pyat' pyat').
Say
"My phone number is 8 003 999 88 55."

In this lesson the phone numbers are given digit by digit. In Russia, however, it's also common to contract the digits. For example, Ben Lee's number could also be read as follows:
8-003-123-45-67 (восемь, ноль ноль три, сто двадцать три, сорок пять, шестьдесят семь (vosem', nol' nol' tri, sto dvadtsat' tri, sorok pyat' shest'desyat sem').
However, as a beginner, the easiest way to say your phone number is digit-by-digit as in the dialog.
