Elena: If someone knocks at your door, the most common expression we use in Russian is [Кто это? Kto eta] meaning “who is it?” If you are the one knocking, you answer with your name, unless they are familiar with your voice already, then just say - “It's me” which is [Это я. (eta ya)] |
