Great Russian online radio site

Have been using the site www.101.ru a lot lately, it has loads of online radio stations to listen to in Russian! I like the Russia 1990s station personally, and also the 'Anekdot' station with non-stop jokes, although I don't understand too much of the Russian there! Useful to get some listening practice, though. Listening to songs is generally a lot easier than full-speed speech if you're just starting out!

You get current events over the last few years with MP3 downloads and new vocabulary as well as complete scripts...what more could a serious Russian student want!

Between this site here and the link to the supplementary Advanced articles of the other site, you really don't need to much more to get real good at Russian! There are about 19 advanced articles with MP3 files and English translations included here, NICE & FREE... Also has a link to the first few chapters of Dostoevski's Crime and Punishment which is both in Russian and English translation on the side...
